Come out and engage with us on the City Budget (over $2.5 Billion dollars).
Moderator Chris Taylor, former City Councilman for District 8, will host this session.
Why This Session Matters
Every year, the City of Virginia Beach adopts a budget exceeding $2 billion.
It determines:
- How much homeowners and businesses pay in taxes
- What services are funded—or not funded
- Where priorities shift year to year
- How long-term obligations affect future taxpayers
Yet few citizens ever see how the budget actually works.
This session is designed to change that.
