The December Membership Meeting 1st Guest Speaker will be Cindy M. Walters, Compliance and Development Officer, City of Virginia Beach, Department of Housing and Neighborhood Preservation with a presentation about the new Five Year Consolidated Strategic Plan for the City of Virginia Beach, Department of Housing and Neighborhood Preservation. It is our goal to provide information to Civic Leagues and to offer an opportunity for community/citizen input for this Strategic Plan.
The 2nd Guest Speaker is Dallas Stamper from PiN (People in Need) Ministries.
We will also be having a “sock Drive” to collect socks for distribution to the homeless population in the City. Bring one or more pairs of new socks with you to the meeting for collection.
Come out and meet other Civic Organization leaders, learn something new about City Government and help your neighborhood become educated in City affairs.
